Jean Charles de Castelbajac is an internationally renowned French fashion designer. A fashion star of the 1970’s and 80’s – Farah Fawcett was dressed by JCDC in the Charlie’s Angels’ years – his witty and flamboyant designs made JCDC a fashion maverick. Infamous fashion creations include a Campbell’s soup can dress, a “fur coat” made of teddy bears (in many museum collections), and inflatable ponchos. His work spanning fashion, interiors, and cars has been exhibited at retrospectives by the Victoria & Albert Museum and Paris Fashion Museum.
